Q: What is PouchGuard and how does it differ from other snus containers?

A: PouchGuard is our innovative snus container, designed and 3D printed in Southwest Virginia. Unlike mass-produced alternatives, PouchGuard offers enhanced durability, custom designs, and a user-friendly experience, making it unique in the market.

Q: Why did you design PouchGuard?

A: PouchGuard was born out of shear frustration. I quit chewing tobacco after 20 years and switched to Zyn Pouches. When I first tried to open the ZYN container it was dark and I was driving in the car. I simply couldn't open it. In the light of day I now realize you have to carefully align the arrows on the side of the lid and the base and then push in the sides on the base. I then took my 3D printing hobby and designed my own solution. It solved the problem for me, so I opened up my Etsy shop and started selling the PouchGuard there. After success on Etsy, I opened SMFPrints.com to offer the PouchGuard to more people. 

Q: What is DipGuard?

A: DipGuard was born out of a customer who reached out and asked if I could design a protector for his Copenhagen Can. When he worked outside in the South Carolina Summer the humidity ruined his cardboard Copenhagen can. I designed the DipGuard to perfectly fit the Copenhagen Cardboard can. However, customers quickly identified that it works for Copenhagen, Skoal, Grizzly, Kodiak as they are pretty similar in size. 

Q: How are your products made? A: Our products are meticulously crafted using advanced 3D printing technology. We oversee every stage of production, from design to final print, ensuring each item meets our high standards. Most of my products have gone through 25 different design revisions in order to perfect the final. I tweak tolerances, thickness and overall dimensions to ensure a quality product gets delivered to my customers. 

Q: Where are your products designed and manufactured? A: All our products are proudly designed and manufactured in Southwest Virginia, USA, ensuring quality craftsmanship and supporting local industry. I use Fusion360 to design and export the file into a "Slicer" program that converts the design into a file that the 3D Printer can understand. 

Q: What materials do you use in your products, and why? A: We use premium-quality, durable materials suitable for 3D printing. These materials are selected for their strength, longevity, and environmental friendliness. Mostly we use BambuLab Matte PLA Filament. I like the colors, the quality, and the reliability of this specific filament. 

Q: How do I clean and maintain my PouchGuard? A: PouchGuard can be easily cleaned with mild soap and water. Avoid using harsh chemicals. Regular cleaning ensures longevity and hygiene.

Q: What makes your products more durable than others on the market? A: Our focus on quality materials and precision 3D printing techniques results in products that are robust and withstand daily use better than many conventional alternatives.

Q: Do you offer international shipping? A: Yes, we do offer international shipping. Shipping costs and times will vary based on the destination.

Q: What is your return and exchange policy? A: We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of purchase, provided the products are in their original condition. Customized products have different policies.

Q: How can I track my order? A: Once your order is shipped, you'll receive a tracking number via email. Use this number to keep tabs on your shipment's progress. I will also confirm that I have shipped, and then check back in when I get the delivery notification.
